Don brings a lifetime of transformational leadership, visionary creative services and socially beneficial mentorships. First published in 1976, in addition to authoring numerous biographies and memoirs, Dr. Steele has published over a dozen works spanning strategic leadership, neuroscience-informed parenting, education policy, and personal transformation.

Appointed Executive Director for The Lighthouse for Humanity Foundation, June 2025, Dr. Steele earned his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, graduating with distinction and a 4.2 GPA. He was named one of the top four doctoral graduates in the nation. He also got his Undergraduate and Masters degrees from Central Michigan University.
